NAAAHR February Breakfast Meeting/Workshop
 

  Enhancing Cross Cultural Interaction in a Multicultural World

  Speaker: Barbara I. Cheives, President and CEO
  Converge & Associates Consulting

  In this session, you will begin to increase your ability to
  communicate and build trust across cultures.  This fun interactive  
  session is designed to help us to navigate the sometimes 'sticky'
  situation we are faced with in our increasingly diverse workplaces.  You will have an opportunity to address situations that can arise because of a variety of cultural differences.  We will look at culture today as it relates to race, ethnicity, language, accents, religon, age, sexual orientation, and sexual harrassment while becoming more sensitive to the uniqueness of various cultures.

President's Message

 Welcome to our current and prospective members!

 The National Association of African Americans in Human  
 Resources, South Florida Chapter (NAAAHR-South Florida) is a  
 vibrant and growing not for profit organization.

 Our mission is to provide a forum for minority human resource  
 practitioners – and those aligned with our goals – to share,  
 gain information and provide leadership on issues affecting their
 individual careers and the global workforce.

 It is a honor and privilege for me to serve as President and 
lead a Board who is committed to ensure that our members receive the best in thought leadership, are provided certified education programs and an opportunity to attend powerful networking events.  This will allow our members to develop and refine their skill set to make them a better professional and more competitive in the market place. 

To all HR professionals in the South Florida area who are interested in professional advancement, furthering their company’s commitment to diversity and strengthening their company’s HR practices, we invite you to become an active member of our dynamic South Florida NAAAHR Chapter.
